Four-spotted Chaser: The first time I've seen this one in our woods. I was really trying to catch the pink of the Campion through the wings. Again this one stayed stationary for me to get progressively closer, really revealing the detailed beautiful rectangular black and golden yellow markings, translucent body, elaborate almost Leopard like markings all over.
Once dragonflies have found a stable perch they do return to the same spot.
